What a holiday season we have had. We are very lucky to be welcomed back to the states by our family and friends and nothing better to make us feel even more welcomed then spending time with our family and friends during the holidays. We have been with our family during the most important holidays and it has been such a long time since we have been able to do that.
We enjoyed our First Christmas in Florida. The weather was absolutely beautiful. We did have a couple chilly days but there is nothing like being outside on Christmas Day and not freezing to death. We were happy that Mom, Grandma and Pat spent Christmas with us. It was probably my grandma's first Christmas from home and I was honored that she chose to make the long drive and spend it with us. I will forever hold that with me!
Vic had the week of Christmas off. He was happy to be able to hit the golf courses a few times. Even more that he had someone to go golfing with. Ha ha! We couldn't of asked for better weather for our "snow birds". We even had a BBQ one night!
The boys seemed to be pleased with what Santa brought them. Tyler got his Terrelle Pryor Jersey and XBOX 360. Holden got Rockband 2 for the Wii and Matt Stafford Jersey (he is QB for the Georgia Bulldogs) Holden is very proud of the fact that he was born in Georgia and although he does cheer for the Buckeyes he is also a Bulldog fan! Colsen was ecstatic that Santa brought him his barn and a 4 wheeler. Tate was happy with his Elmo and his Harley Davidson big wheel. Cali was of course happy with her stuff snowman and her knuckle bone. ha ha! All in all we had a great Christmas and we can only hope that 2009 will be an even better year for us and all our family and friends.
