Every Thursday night there is a thing called "Bands on the Beach" in Navarre. Tonight we went and had a good time. It is basically a local band or maybe just 1 singer who comes and sings/entertains for a couple of hours. People can bring their lawn chairs and blankets and kind of relax after a long day of working and listen to music, have a beer or a glass of wine and kind of unwind. They usually play a mixture of music. Anything from country to beach tunes to a little pop rock. Where they play at is not exactly on the beach but it is on the Santa Rosa Sound. If you drive over the bridge then that is where the true ocean is. Anyways, kids usually run around on the playgrounds or play in the little water park or swim in the sound. They have a basketball court as well and some people try to fish off the dock as well. They have the same thing in Pensacola on Tuesday's but we haven't been there yet to listen to any of the bands that play there. It will be a thing to do when anyone comes to visit.
